La coda del 2011 ci ha portato via altri due icone del jazz internazionale: Paul Motian (al quale avevo già dedicato una breve scheda in un mio precedente post) e Sam Rivers. E’ strano come riguardo a quest’ultimo si siano fatti commenti piuttosto eterogenei e non sempre corrispondenti ai reali indirizzi dell’artista: leggendoli, alcuni critici pongono l’accento sulla prima fase del sassofonista presso
