Prolific Argentinian, Berlin-based tenor sax player, visual artist and concert series curator Camila Nebbia seems – or sounds – as if she is everywhere, globe-trotting and constantly recording and initiating free improvised meetings with experienced improvisers like Marilyn Crispell, Michael Formanek, Tom Rainey and Susana Santos Silva and younger generation of improvisers like Patrick Shiroishi, Axel Filip, Kenneth Jimenez and Lesley Mok. She often focuses on such issues as hierarchical systems across migration, identity and memory.
