Amarela label: Arciniegas & Cusack, Frith & Segal

Elisa Arciniegas is a French-Colomabian violist-vocalist-composer-sound designer and a former disciple of Fred Frith at the Hochschüle für Musik in Basel. Peter Cusack is a British guitarist and sound artist who mainly works with sound sculpture and homemade instruments these days. He has played in the mid-seventies in the group Alterations with Steve Beresford, David Toop and Terry Day, and is an old colleague of Frith from his early London days. En Un Lugar En Este Mundo (In a Place in this World) is their debut duo album, released on Arciniegas’s newly founded label Amarela.
