Italian, Genova-based experimental double bass player (and the founder and director of the Torto Editions label) Tommaso Rolando has a highly personal, unorthodox approach to his instrument, and his improvisational work extends beyond music, often collaborating with dancers, theater, and visual artists. Fellow Italian, Milan-based Domiziano Maselli is an audio-visual artist-composer-producer and the founder of Eremo, a local studio and artistic collective that creates works in multimedia, video games, and performing arts.
