The Viennese experimental duo of electronics player Veronica Mayer and recorder player-vocal artist Gobi Drab explores the elusive sonic territory between free improvisation and new music. live recording session #1 is the first album of this working duo. It was recorded in March 2024 and released by the Scottish label scatterArchive whose policy for its only Bandcamp releases is “pay what you can afford”. True to the DIY approach, Mayer and Drab designed the cover artwork. The mixing and mastering was done by fellow Viennese electronics player Daniel Lercher.
