τὰ ἀμφότερα ἓν / ta amfótera en / two into one (a quote borrowed from the book of Ephesians in the New Testament) documents the first collaboration between German avant-garde pianist-composer and the artistic director of the acclaimed ensemble zeitkratzer Reinhold Friedl, known for his extended techniques that transform the piano into a sensual sounding orchestra, with Greek Greek composer, autodidact electronic musician and producer Costis Drygianakis, known as a founding member of the legendary experimental music project Optical Musics (1984-1998). He is known for his unorthodox compositional strategies that use recording and re-composition, randomness and improvisation, balance between ambiance and surprise, and his work with Nikos Veliotis, Savina Yannatou, and Ross Daly.
