Swiss, Zürich-based double bass player Fridolin Blumer works in the fields of modern jazz, free improvisation, and contemporary music. He says that his music is inspired by everyday life and seeks illiterate or musical answers to the questions: “What are we and what depths of passion, feeling, perception, and thought can we reach?“ Blumer has recorded with Italian flutist Stefano Leonardi and clarinetist Marco Colonna and Swiss-Argentine violinist Sophie Lüssi.
