Moving is a series of multidisciplinary works by American experimental composer, guitarist, and transmedia artist Chaz Underriner, who is often associated with the reductionist Wandelweiser Group of composers, and is an associate professor of digital arts at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. These works are focused on the sensations of travel. Moving (1) was commissioned by the American contemporary Wet Ink Ensemble and premiered in April 2019. It explored the connections between acoustic beating and physical movement. Moving (2) was written for violin, cello, piano, and video, and was performed by Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble in Moscow in 2020.
