Distrubio is the experimental duo of French Musique concrète composer-sound artist-improviser Jérôme Noetinger, known for his unique usage of the reel-to-reel tape recorder Revox B77 as an instrument, and Viennese, Mexican-born composer-sound artist Angélica Castelló, whose compositions concentrate on fragility, the dream world and the subconscious. Noetinger and Castelló have been collaborating in various formats for more than a decade but Les Mauvaises Fréquentations (Bad company, a clever wordplay on their sound artistry) is the second album of the duo, following the self-titled album (Mikroton, 2018).
