French, Paris-based sax player and analog synth and phone apps player Quentin Rollet (and producer and founder of the legendary Rectangle Records, together with guitarist Noël Akchoté, and of Bisou Records) and modular synth player-trumpeter (and drummer, aka Lori Sean Berg, Dr Schönberg or Cheucheu) Jérôme Lorichon have worked together on a few free improvising and experimental, left-off-center projects, including live soundtracks and with Ghédalia Tazartès (Quoi Qu’il En Soit, 2021) and avant-folk icon Emmanuelle Parrenin (Nosferatu, Bisou, 2024).
Their duo album, Planisphère, was recorded in one take, with no overdubs, and celebrates the 30th anniversary of Fabrice Laureau’s Paris-based label Prohibited Records. It
