Two completely different albums with prolific French guitarist-composer Noël Akchoté.
The first album is the surprising collaboration of Croatian pop and jazz singer-songwriter Vesna Pisarović with Akchoté, trumpeter Axel Dörner, drummer-percussionist Tony Buck (of The Necks), and double bass player Greg Cohen. The full band plays only on four songs; four other songs are duets with Akchoté, another one is a duet with Cohen, and another one is a trio with Akchoté and Cohen. Pisarović sings one song a cappella. The album is titled Poravna and it was recorded during three live sessions between
